I love all banjo music and play fingerpickin and clawhammer styles. I don't think it's natural to feel confined to one style, and if there is something I hear that I like, I want to learn it. There are so many people making beautiful music that there is no way to categorize it-or else you run the risk of creating a great big gray area, or something so commercial. To just play the music that comes from the heart and is natural to what you want express is the most intimate form of music and what I try to convey in banjo and having tons of fun!!!
