  • Hilary Hawke's 2nd Sunday Slowjam-Every 2nd Sunday of the month 3:30pm-6pm FREE! @ Jalopy Theatre. Oldtime, folk and traditional. Led by Hilary Hawke banjo/fiddle, Charlie Shaw on guitar and Karen Dahlstrom on bass

  • The Brooklyn Traditional Slow Jam meets twice a month (once in Park Slope at the Old Stone House and once in Ditmas Park at Lark Cafe). It’s a very friendly jam and welcoming to beginners.
  • Paddy Reilly's 2nd & 4th Mondays are the Bluegrass Slow Jam. 519 2nd ave, Manhattan. (corner of 29th st.) 7:30-9:30pm

  • Michael Dave's Bluegrass Jam-Every first Monday of the month @ Rockwood Music Hall 9:30pm 

  • The Green Room Jam. (my favorite oldtime jam!) Every other Tuesday evening starting around 8:00pm.  158 E23rd St.  A good mix of oldtime, folk, and bluegrass players all playing oldtime music. Fun Fun! Sometimes the cloggers from City Stompers come by!

  • The Dog House Sessions at The Growler, Tuesdays, 6-9pm, Manhattan
  • Bar Chord Bluegrass Jam, Third Wednesdays, 9pm- midnight , Brooklyn (advanced)
  • Sunny's Saturday Night Jam- every Saturday night at Sunnys in Red Hook

 

  • *Weekly bluegrass at The Archer in Jersey City- every Wednesday night from 7-10pm with Larry Legend and friends 

  • *Strong Rope Jam: hosted by Casey Soloff and Steve Skollar every Thursday at Strong Rope Brewery in Gowanus, 8pm-midnight 

  • Larry Legend hosts Sad Song Happy Hour on most Fridays and he has a short bluegrass jam after the performances. 

     

  • Von Bar Bluegrass Jam, Fourth Wednesdays, 7-10pm, Manhattan (advanced)
