The Hilary Hawke Band
Expect sparkling banjo, fiddle melodies, intricate guitar work, and three-part harmonies, all grounded in songs that celebrate community and creativity around one microphone.
The Hilary Hawke Band delivers a dynamic, expressive performance rooted in tradition and driven by adventurous musicality.
A powerhouse trio featuring guitarist Ross Martin and fiddler Camille Howes. Since forming in 2022, the group has built its identity around improvisation, original songwriting, and a shared enjoyment of bluegrass and old-time traditions. Hilary and Ross bring over 15 years of shared musical history across a range of bluegrass projects while never being afraid to stretch out into the world of original music. With Camie on fiddle, the trio leans into improvisation, creating performances that are spontaneous and alive.
The band just released their debut album, Lift Up This Old World, in July 2025 on Adhyaropa Records—and it's already earning critical acclaim. Rooted in the rich traditions of bluegrass and old-time music, the album features ten original tracks that explore themes of resilience, hope, acceptance, and heartfelt emotion. From foot-stomping tunes to soul-stirring ballads, this collection invites listeners to trust their journey and connect deeply through both time-honored sounds and fresh, authentic songwriting.
